We only made it to Lake Lindsey Road, Nobleton before we had to turn around in order to make it back to Dunnellon before dark when the trail closes. It is a perfect metric century from Inverness to Trilby and back. If only the lodging was closer to downtown. So my advice is to start north and head south downhill. I recently did the Pinellas Trail and all the bike trails on Sanibel Island and this one is the best all around. Highly recommend trying this trail. I am so blessed the trails are in my backyard. About 100 yards from the bike trail and nearly in the middle of it, this clean, pleasant motel with the totally enclosed locking storage for your bike is just about ideal.
